Visit by the Premier of Québec, Jean Charest, Accompanied by the Minister of MAPAQ
and the Chaudière-Appalaches Region, Laurent Lessard
As part of the administration of the SERRÉ (Soutien aux Entreprises à Risque de Ralentissement
Économique) program, we were pleased to welcome Jean Charest and Laurent Allard to Menuiserox,
inc. The Commission des partenaires du marché du travail provides businesses affected by the economic
slowdown with the opportunity to upgrade staff skills while reducing the likelihood of eventual layoffs
or reduced schedules.
Thanks to the invaluable contribution of Gérard Hamel, corporate advisor at the CLE de Sainte-Marie et Saint-Joseph,
and Ms. Jacinthe Veilleux, Director of the CLE de Sainte-Marie et Saint-Joseph, as well as Thérèse Leclerc,
Chaudière-Appalaches Regional Director for the MESS, the organization garnered the support of its personnel
proficiency upgrading efforts in these times, when the manufacturing industry is affected by the current
global economic downturn.
